She has featured in movies such as Knights of Badassdom or Serenity is also the producer of a variety of TV series and short films. Glau has been featured twice on FHM's 100 Sexiest Females in the World and was once included in Wizard magazine's Sexiest Women of TV list. Maxim also included Glau as an American in its Hot 100. Glau's acting achievements are highlighted by the SFX Award, which she received for her role in Serenity. In recognition of her work on Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles Glau won an award called the Saturn Award. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Marcela Quintanilla had three other children. Selena's career began at the age of eight old. She was a member of a father-led band. The band was composed of Selena along with her elder siblings Abraham junior who played the base guitar and the sister Suzette who played the drums as well as Selena was the vocalist of the group. The band was called Selena Y Los Dino and Selena would be performing with her siblings at numerous wedding and bar fairs as well as other venues. Selena did not have much childhood as the band required lots of time. However, their father Abraham was determined to inspire the band and eventually they were dedicated musicians. Abraham senior was also a member of The Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos formed officially in 1981. It was the band's main activity, as well as its primary source of family income. The Quintanilla Family was determined to achieve success despite hard times and a financial difficulties at first. Selena Y Los Dinos became well-known in the western states by late 1980s.
